When you purchase something from our store we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address and only use this information to fulfil your order.
If you contact us using the contact form on our website or by email, we will only use your email address to reply to your query. We will not add you to our email newsletter list without your explicit consent via our email list sign up form.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, this implies that you consent to our collecting this information and will only use it for that specific reason only.
We will only disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so.
We will never sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.
If you choose to sign up for our newsletter we will only ask for your name and email address. As we use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter, it is easy for you to manage your preferences or unsubscribe from the list at any time by clicking on the links that are provided in every email newsletter. Access to our newsletter mailing list is password protected.

Making a Purchase
When you make a purchase from us we will receive your name, address and email address. Online payments are processed by PayPal. We receive email confirmation of orders and payments, but no bank details.
We only hold personal information (e.g. name and contact details) for the purposes of accounting, processing an order, or if you have asked us to add you to our email newsletter list.
Cookies & Google Analytics
Woolly Chic Designs’ website and blog are hosted on servers based in the UK. We use WordPress services and Google Analytics to view statistics about users’ activity on the site to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it.
Some of the information gathered about you on this site is gained in a statistical manner for our use only and is collected by Google Analytics. This helps us see how customers use the site and improve the shopping experience we offer.
Data will not identify you personally. It is strictly aggregate statistical data about our visitors and how they used our resources on the site. No identifying personal information will be shared at any time via cookies.
You may elect to decline all cookies via your computer. Every computer has the ability to decline file downloads like cookies. Your browser has an option to enable the declining of cookies. If you do decline cookie downloads you may be limited to certain areas of our site, as there are parts of our site that require cookies.
Description of Products
We make every effort to provide accurate and helpful information to our customers
We strive to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually posting orders out within working 2 days.
All UK orders are sent by First Class Royal Mail and usually arrives within one to three working days after dispatch, however UK post can take longer.
If you would like to order from outside the UK, please email email@example.com for the individual country’s postal charges. Payment for non-UK orders can be made via a PayPal invoice and customers will therefore, need to have a PayPal account.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Woolly Chic cannot be responsible for delays due to customs.
Returns & exchanges
We want you to be satisfied with your order, and are happy to accept returns if you change your mind.
To return an order please contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship the items back within 21 days of delivery.
Please pack your undamaged, unused and re-saleable item either in the original packaging, or appropriate new packaging.
Post it back to us, making sure to obtain a proof of postage. In the event of the returned product going missing in transit, it is your responsibility to pursue your postage provider for compensation as the product is legally yours until a refund is issued.
Once we have your order back, we will issue a refund the cost of your original order excluding postage and using the original payment method.
Buyers are responsible for the return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
If you are buying a PDF downloadable pattern, this will be emailed to you with 24 hours of purchasing the pattern. However, once sent, you cannot then cancel the order or return the pattern, unless there is a problem or fault with downloading the pattern.
Digital patterns cannot be copied, distributed, modified, adapted or used in any way other than its intended purpose.
As with all Woolly Chic patterns, digital patterns may only be used for your personal use and not for commercial or retail purposes.
Unfortunately, workshop deposits paid are non-refundable. If you cannot attend the workshop please let us know as soon as possible. If cancelled 7 days prior to the event, the deposit can be transferred to another workshop.
