Easter is just round the corner and with the snow all melted here in Hertfordshire I am getting really excited about springtime!
So, just in time for Easter, let me tell you about my newest kit – The Easter Bunny and Sheep Hand Puppet Crochet Kit!
Designed to pop over a chocolate egg and be given at Easter, but it can also then be played with all year round! The kit includes my brand new Woolly Chic DK undyed wool, which has had 20% Alpaca added for extra softness. This yarn was only delivered to me last week, so is literally hot of the spinning machines! For a limited time only, this kit is just £10 and can be ordered from me online
It is so lovely to give handmade gifts at Easter and not just the usual mountain of chocolate. Here are some ideas of quick and easy Easter projects listed in the Woolly Chic shop:
I have seen a lovely free crochet pattern on Hannah Cross’ blog HanJan Crochet for Easter Eggs that I would like to make using Fair Cotton and for those of you that fancy knitting a few chicks for your local hospice shop, there is a great pattern on the Francis House Hospice website.
Easter Crochet and Knitting Party!
What is also lovely about the Easter holidays, is getting together with family and friends, so what could be better than getting together and knitting and crocheting with friends?
I am holding an Easter themed evening of knitting and crochet on Monday 26th March, 7 – 9pm at Molly’s Tea Rooms in Hitchin, so if you live near by and fancy coming along you would be most welcome. Details are all on my events page. I will have all my wool and Easter kits on display.
Have a wonderful time making your Easter gifts and Happy Easter!
