Woolly Chic Designs

Crochet need not be just about granny squares and certainly has something for all generations, young and old! Woolly Chic has a range of fun, quick and easy projects that are ideal for crocheting on the go!

In the 1973 edition of the Golden Hands Encyclopedia of Knitting & Crochet, Crochet was described as “a boon for the busy woman who can only spare ten minutes at a time.” The attraction of this quick, portable craft remains today. Projects can be carried around in your handbag, worked up in smaller individual motifs and sewn up into anything from blankets to fashionable garments.

In recent years there has been a revival in handmade crafts and people are enjoying once again, making their own clothes, keeping up with the latest fashion trends, without having to pay designer prices. Latest fashions includes crocheted motif tops, which would be simple to make in our gorgeous Fair Cotton and pom poms seem to be everywhere at the moment.
